Very easy to grow. Needs well-draining soil and at least 6 hours of sunlight. Can easily be grown in a container with good drainage. Sany or loamy soil is best. Keep soil moist, but not soggy.  Water the soil, and not the plant to avoid mildew. Mature plants can manage some frost.  Allow for good airflow around the plant to avoid fungus. Do not plant by cucumbers as it can change the flavor of them. Earthy and slightly bitter Use in roasted dishes, such as vegetables, or in pasta.
