Best grown as an outdoor plant but can be container grown outside. Likes sun with very good drainage.  Grows well around kales, cabbages, and broccoli.  Loamy soil is best. Water regularly to establish but do not overwater.  Once established it is very drought tolerant and can dry out between waterings.  Care for it carefully as it gets established. Fertilize by dressing with compost or a liquid fertilizer. Earthy with hints of lemon Use in roasted dishes, such as vegetables, pasta, and soups.
