Fast growing, it can get to 2 feet tall.  Oregano is toxic to pets. Loves full sun, but partial shade in extreme temperatures.  Loamy, sandy soil is preferred.  Dryer soil that drains very well is required.  Drought tolerant. Let the soil dry out between waterings. Tolerant of high and low temperatures.   In the mint family. Earthy and slightly bitter Delicious in tomato-based dishes, such as pizza and pasta.
