Grows in full sun. Will die in shade. Drought tolerant, does not like soggy soil. Let soil dry out before watering. Fertilize annually.  Grow next to tomatoes for bigger tomato yield.   In the mint family. Attracts beneficial insects and deters troublesome bugs. Deer resistant. Aids in digestion, including loss of appetite, gas, diarrhea, constipation and indigestion.  Can also be used for respiratory needs such as cough, bronchitis, and asthma.   Use dried or fresh in syrups and teas.  Can be used to flavor cocktails, beer, or as a seasoning.  Root beer like flavor.
