So many people worry about their plants when frost and snow come. If you plant the right veggies in the right season, and keep them healthy, you'd be surprised what survives through those cold snaps. I make sure to fertilize with organic compost, even in the cold seasons, water well just before a cold snap and look out for any winter pests. Here are my cabbages and lettuce sprinkled with snow. Even my garlic is still up and growing! What are you growing during cold weather?
