About the event

Active and engaging, Part One of a Sensory Gardening workshop series where youth explore each of the five senses through planting and garden-based activities. Each session focuses on one sense and ends with each child potting a plant that stimulates that specific sense. The goal is to create a multi-Sensory Garden experience by the end of the series at The G.R.O.W Farm. This session will focus on Touch in the Garden and participants will make a nature touch board to take home. Explore textures in nature including their roles, and understand how plants feel different in terms of leaves, vegetables, soil, and moisture. Appropriate for ages 5 - 12
